Los Angeles has excellent sport and genuinely difficult venues. Each one fails in its own particular way.
Dodger Stadium
Built on a hill with limited roads in and the same roads out. Arriving is manageable; leaving after the ninth is where an hour goes. Locals either leave in the eighth or accept the wait. Being collected from a point outside the lots skips most of it.
Crypto.com Arena and the surrounding downtown
Downtown parking at event prices, plus a one-way grid, plus whatever else is on at the convention centre that night. The upside: it is the easiest of the three to be dropped at, and dinner within walking distance is plentiful.
SoFi Stadium
Enormous, in Inglewood, and close enough to LAX that flight traffic and game traffic interact. Parking is pre-booked and the lots empty slowly. Rideshare pickup zones after a full house are their own experience.
The common answer
For all three, the fixed problem is leaving, not arriving. A pre-arranged pickup at a point you agreed beforehand is worth more than a good parking space.
